CHIP BREAKERS CYCLE

Share on:
For this purpose, the possibility to set with the acronim <DINC…> (Depth Increment for Narrow Cavities) has been added. This must be applied to a "chip breakers cycle".  "<DINC" // Depth Increment for Narrow Cavities : is used to include a "chip breakers cycle" when the tool drops into a narrow and deep cavities. The set value shows the increment to be apply in "Z" for the "chip breakers cycle". When the tool go in very narrow cavities, every "step" (set with <DINC…> mm ofworking depth, the tool go up till the top of the cavity and than go down again at the same previous working level, to continue until the next step where is forecasted to lift. The scope of this lift is to allow the tool to cool and let the coolant (water, air or vacuum) to remove part of the remuved material (chips). Even if the "<DINC...>" parameter has not been set, a default value is active (equal to one third of the tool diameter.
